Mae Sai et le Mekong

Toute la région située à l'extrême nord de la Thailande, aux confins de la Birmanie et du Laos est extrêmement touristique avec en particulier le triangle d'or et les tribus montagnardes. Cependant ne vous attendez pas à voir des champs d'opium ou d'autres traficants. Il y a longtemps qu'ils ont disparus de cette région qui dispose d'attraits naturels indéniables.
Pour la visiter, il n'y a pas besoin de s'inscrire à une visite organisée. Si vous connaissez 2 mots d'anglais, les bus locaux vous emmènent partout à partir de Chiang Rai. Les transports publics fonctionnent très bien. Ils sont ponctuels et très bon marchés. Soit à Mae Sai ou Chiang Saen, il existe de nombreuses guest houses pour y passer la nuit dans un cadre hors du commun.

Mae Sai : le village le plus au nord de la Thailande à la frontière birmane au bord de la rivière du même nom. A partir de Mae Sai, une route part en direction du triangle d'or, plus à l'est. Mae Sai and Mekong

All this area is located at the extreme north of Thailand, on the borders of Burma
and Laos. It is extremely touristic in particular with the golden triangle and the
mountain tribes. However you do not wait to see fields of opium or others
traficants. For a long time they disappeared from this area which has undeniable
natural attractions.
To visit it, you don't need to take an organized visit. If you speak English, the local
buses take you everywhere starting from Chiang Rai. Public transport work very
well. They are specific and very good markets. In Mae Sai or Chiang Saen, there are
many guest houses to spend the night near the nature.
