  It is the largest island of the gulf of Thailand with 25 X 21 km. This island is full developped since the airport opened. There are not a lot of points of interest on this area, but it is an ideal place for stay near the beach with white sand. Except Chaweng and Lamai, where are concentrates the tourists of the large tours operators and the night activity, there remain corners with splendid beaches. Mae Nam, Bo Phut and big Buddha beach are some very quiet resorts.

  C'est la plus grande île du golfe de la Thailande avec 25 X 21 km. Elle est en plein développement surtout depuis que l'aéroport s'est ouvert. Pas beaucoup de curiosités sur cette île, mais c'est un endroit idéal pour un séjours balnéaire. Hormis Chaweng et Lamai,où se concentre les touristes des grands tours operators et l'activité nocturne, il reste des coins avec des plages magnifiques. Mae Nam, Bo Phut et big Buddha beach sont des stations très tranquilles

• Avion avec Thai Airways sur Surat Thani,
  puis bateau régulier (Beaucoup moins cher, mais long trajet de l'aéroport au port
• Train via Surat Thani, puis bateau
